It All Depends On Whose Brain Is Being Bored
They're really nothing more annoying than trying to run a meeting at work while some a-hole in the corner fires up his laptop and starts checking e-mail or surfing the web (we have wireless access throughout our workplace). It's rude, thoughtless, and incredibly distracting. If I had my druthers, it would not be allowed.
Unless of course, I'm the a-hole sitting in the corner doing it. In that case, it's perfectly acceptable. I'm a busy man you see and I need to stay on top of things.
